The Rosette Nebula, also known as Caldwell 49, is a large, spherical, H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy.

My wife and i were there this past Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Views of the plants Jupiter and Saturn through their telescope were spectacular. Just as impressive as the views were, also were the guys who volunteer there. ~Mickey M
