There is actually very little light around the observatory but the long exposure makes it seem pretty bright.

External construction and most interior finishes were completed just in time for “Doors Open Jamestown” on January 19, 2019. Some work still to be done — but, we’re getting close!
It’s hard to look back at the demolition of the [original] additions to the observatory and remember the vision we had on August 1st 2018 as to what the observatory was to become. It’s been a journey none of us would have wanted to miss.
When this photo was taken now seems like a distant memory but it was just last fall. Open up https://martzobservatory.org/ [first image] to view roughly the same area as it appears today. It’s almost unbelievable.
