There was a great turnout on August 21, 2017 at the Martz-Kohl Observatory for the very impressive Solar Eclipse, Nice weather and seeing contributed to the event.

The Marshal Martz Memorial Astronomical Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity.

The staff was amazing. Took time to explain to the kids in the way they would understand. Answered the kids questions with enthusiasm! Were very receptive to the kids needs and very patient. ~Erin B

The Martz-Kohl Observatory is run by the Marshal Martz Memorial Astronomical Association, a not-for-profit voluntary group of people interested in astronomy. The observatory is located in Frewsburg, New York in Chautauqua County, not far from Jamestown and Chautauqua Lake.
